Our Services

Our technicians have over 30 years of experience.  Things have changed lots from the years when cantilever brakes and 3x drivetrains were the norm, but we've kept pace with the standards and have racers that trust us to keep their rigs running smoothly.  From building and servicing Berd spoked wheels to knowing the nuances of just about every brake on the market, your rig will be in good hands.  We do have the option to come to your home for $50.  Most of these services can be accomplished in your driveway, get in touch with us to see what's appropriate for your needs.  All services listed here do not include price for any parts.  Lubrication and fluids are included.

Tune

Standard Tune (any bike) $100

This is a great option if you want to revive a rig that's been sitting in the garage, or have some minor issues you want to address.  Also a good option to get a kids bike ready to ride.

  • Clean drivetrain, frame, wheels.
  • Inspect, clean and adjust brakes
  • Inspect, clean and adjust shifters/derailleurs
  • On-the-bike chain clean
  • On-the-bike wheel true

Hardtail/Gravel Overhaul $500

Your bike's seen some love and needs a deep clean.  Maybe you have a creak you can't find or some heavy pressure when shifting.  Maybe you want to upgrade a bunch of parts and just need the bike to be gone over.

  • Standard Tune, plus:
  • Remove wheels, True, replace sealant (included)
  • Replace rim tape or tires if purchased
  • Clear Valve stems
  • Remove chain, ultrasonic cleaning
  • Remove cassette, ultrasonic cleaning
  • Waxed Chain
  • Remove derailleur hanger, clean, lube, reinstall and straighten (recommend replacing if UDH)
  • Lubricate or replace housings, including dropper
  • Clean seatpost rails
  • Inspect and clean headset (usually requires new lower bearings)
  • Inspect and clean bottom bracket (install included if purchased)
  • Inspect all hub and freewheel bearings
  • Lube freewheel (Onyx hubs $30 extra)
  • Lower Fork Service
  • Seat dropper inspection

Full Suspension Overhaul $800

Full suspension bikes have some special needs which requires additional work to bring them back to "as new" condition.  We can get you rolling smoothly again.

  • Hardtail Tune, plus:
  • Disassemble, inspect and replace bad bearings (first 4 bearings free)
  • Lube any bearings that have zerks.
  • Includes Rear Shock service

Road Bike Overhaul $400

If you don't have knobbies, suspension or a dropper, this is probably the best option for you.

  • Standard Tune, plus:
  • Remove wheels, True, replace sealant (included)
  • Replace rim tape or tires if purchased
  • Clear Valve stems
  • Remove chain, ultrasonic cleaning
  • Remove cassette, ultrasonic cleaning
  • Waxed Chain
  • Lubricate or replace housings

Suspension

Fork Lower Service $100

This includes disassembly of the lowers, replacement of fluids, and replacing the seals.

Replace Fork Damper $150

It can often be a similar price to replace your damper than it does to have it serviced and can be an amazing upgrade for your bike.  Bring your own or let us help you find the best option.  We do not service any dampers currently.

Replace/Upgrade air shaft $150

Want to get more out of your fork or turn your bike into a "lunchride".  This could be your ticket if your fork has some headroom?  With the addition of some tokens this can also be a great option to get a more supple feel without harsh bottom out.

Rear Shock Service $75

Includes removal of the shock, inspection/cleaning of the shock bearings

Seat Post Overhaul $150

Have a wobbling, sticking seatpost?  Most seatposts can be revived with replacement of their pins and some slickoleum, saving you hundreds over replacement.  We'll replace the cable and housing while we are in there.

Miscellaneous 

Tire Repair $25

Sometimes you can salvage a tire by patching it internally.  We can do this for you!  Same price whether you have an insert or not.

Wheel True $60

Includes removal/install of the tire, inspection of rim tape and tire (Lot's of times there'll be cactus/goat heads poking through where we are from!). Stripped nipples will be replaced.  Wheel is checked for round, true, and dish.  Berd wheels $75.

Brake Bleed $60

Get rid of "sponge brake"! We can also replace your brake pads if you during this maintenance.

Hand Built Wheel - Standard $100 - Berd $150

This is also the price for a rim swap, but keep in mind you might need to get different length spokes if you are swapping out for a rim with a different ERD.

Bike Build $400
